Cold Brew Coffee

Cold Brew

Cold brew is created by steeping medium-to-coarse ground coffee in room temperature water for 12 hours or longer and then filtering out the grounds for a clean cup without sediment. Unlike regular coffee, cold brew is never exposed to heat. Cold brew uses time, rather than heat to extract the coffee’s oils, sugars, and caffeine.

What exactly is cold brew?

In the process of making coffee known as cold brewing, coarsely grinded ground coffee beans are steeped for about 12 hours in water that is at room temperature. After the brewing process is finished, you obtain cold brew.

Cold brew is a chilled coffee made by steeping ground coffee at room temperature for several hours. It is never exposed to heat and uses time to extract the flavour.

How is cold brew different?

Rather than instant coffee people, cold brew is for people who plan. It’s a long process but the results are mesmerizing. The time it takes to brew, results in a smooth, rich and creamier infusion with minimized acidity levels, same health and energy benefits as of hot coffee. Compared to normal coffee that gives the best taste for only about a day, Cold brew lasts up to 15 days in your fridge thus saving you time in your busy schedule.

Cold Brew Strength

Though cold brew concentrate is strong and highly caffeinated due to the high ratio of coffee to water, most people cut it with water, ice, milk and some other drinks, which cut the caffeine level in a cup of cold brew to the same as a normal cup of coffee. So, cold brew can be as strong or as light as you want it, based on caffeine content.
